Committee to Sector Scanning

Our system maintains a mapping of all Parliamentary Committees to economic sectors. For example, if your MP sits on the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance and also holds disclosed assets in the banking sector, we flag that overlap for review. A flag is a prompt to look closer, not a finding that any rule was broken.

Data Sources

All information comes from public registries, including the federal Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner and Ontario's Integrity Commissioner. Trade tickers, asset descriptions and material change reports are cross referenced against active bills and mandates.

Why Does This Matter?

Citizens deserve to know when their elected officials' holdings overlap with their public duties. The Pulse exists for objective transparency, not personal or political critique, and Integrity Index is and will remain non-partisan.
