  1. 01This Act may be cited as the Christian Heritage Month Act.
  2. 02The month of October is hereby declared to be Christian Heritage Month.
  3. 03The Governor in Council may, by order, designate a day in October to be observed as Christian Heritage Day.
  4. 04The day designated under subsection (1) may be observed by the Minister of Canadian Heritage and by any other person or organization that wishes to do so.
  5. 05The Minister of Canadian Heritage may, in consultation with the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, make grants and contributions to support the observance of Christian Heritage Day.
  6. 06The Minister of Canadian Heritage may, in consultation with the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, establish a program to promote the observance of Christian Heritage Day.
