- 01This Act may be cited as the Optometry Act.
- 02The Minister of Health and Wellness is responsible for the administration of this Act.
- 03For the purposes of this Act, "optometrist" means a person who is registered under this Act.

- 05The College of Optometrists of Nova Scotia is established as a body corporate under this Act.
