- 01This Act may be cited as the Balanced Budget Act.
- 02This Act receives royal assent and comes into force on a day to be proclaimed by the Governor in Council.
- 03The Minister of Finance shall prepare and table in the House of Assembly a balanced budget for each fiscal year.
- 04The Minister of Finance shall not authorize any new expenditure in excess of the amount provided for in the budget.
