  1. 01This Act may be cited as the Cancer Survivors Day Act.
  2. 02Cancer Survivors Day is hereby declared to be a day of recognition and celebration in the province.
  3. 03The Lieutenant Governor in Council may designate a day in the year to be Cancer Survivors Day.
  4. 04The day designated under subsection (1) shall be a statutory holiday in the province.
  5. 05The Lieutenant Governor in Council may make regulations respecting the observance of Cancer Survivors Day.
  6. 06This Act comes into force on a day to be proclaimed by the Governor in Council.
