What you need to know

Groves Memorial Community Hospital has applied for special legislation to repeal the legislation under which it was incorporated, the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Act, 2002 , as well as the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Act, 2022 , which amended the incorporating Act with respect to the ownership of certain property. The corporation was continued under the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 on December 13, 2024 and the repeals are therefore necessary in order to complete the transition. It is appropriate to grant the application.
