Tracy M. Schembri (formerly Butler) has applied for special legislation to revive 861282 Ontario Limited. The applicant represents that she was a director and officer of the corporation when it was dissolved and that she is the estate trustee of the estate of Rosalyn Butler, who was the sole shareholder of the corporation when it was dissolved. The corporation was voluntarily dissolved under the Business Corporations Act on June 25, 2024 pursuant to articles of dissolution. The applicant would like to revive the corporation in order to deal with certain property that was held in the corporation’s name at the time of the dissolution. It is appropriate to grant the application.
